Humber Bay Shores

This picturesque pocket in Toronto’s west end is perfect for escaping the bustle of the city centre. There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, no matter the season, and bird watchers can find a promising perch along Humber River or in Humber Bay Park. It’s also an up-and-coming hub of development, with more Torontonians making the move to the placid west.

Don't miss:

  • Spotting the difference between monarchs and viceroys at the open-air Humber Bay Butterfly Habitat
  • A retro-style cheeseburger and banana split at Tom’s Dairy Freeze
  • Lunch at Eden Trattoria for the spectacular patio view of Toronto’s skyline
  • Seeing Humber Bay Arch Bridge, one of the city’s most striking landmarks
  • Renting a stand-up paddleboard and enjoying the calm waters of the Humber River and Lake Ontario

BOUNDARIES:  Humber River to the east, Mimico Creek to the west, Lake Ontario to the south and Berry Road to the north.

PUBLIC TRANSIT (TTC): Keele subway station, then the 80 Queensway bus westbound. Or take the 501 streetcar all the way west to the Queensway shopping strip.
