Curate the ultimate Blue Jays fan experience with these can’t-miss activities at the newly revamped Rogers Centre.

One of the best sports cities just got even better. Catching a Toronto Blue Jays game is now even more exciting with the addition of the shiny new Outfield District to the Rogers Centre, part of a $300-million stadium renovation.

Jays fans can now truly feel like part of the action with the Outfield District’s five new neighbourhoods, each jam-packed with food and drink spots, fun photo ops, great views of the game and live entertainment.

Here’s your checklist so you can pull together the ultimate fan experience at your next game.

Get some Instagram-worthy snapshots

Throughout the Outfield District’s five neighbourhoods, you’ll find tons of great spots to snap photos for your reels.

In the Corona Rooftop Patio alone, you’ve got the greenery wall featuring a Toronto Blue Jays neon sign, a Toronto skyline mural and a multicolour “Come As You Are” neon sign.

Next, pop into The Stop for a photo of the Toronto neighbourhoods mural. Finally, a visit to TD Park Social is a must for selfies with the baseball mural and swings.

Eat your heart out!

Every Tuesday home game, hot dogs are $1 each during Loonie Dogs Night. In the mood for something different? Try the poutine dog—a classic hot dog topped with hash browns, cheese curds and gravy—at Schneiders Porch

Or go for some international flavours: you’ll find Jamaican beef patties at The Stop (which is an homage to the city’s multicultural neighbourhoods), a kofta bowl at the Mediterranean stand at section 135 and churros (choose from plain, PB & J or Oreo) at TD Park Social.

Try a craft beer flight

Beer lovers can enjoy between-innings craft beer tastings now that there are many local craft beer options to choose from. Try local favourites like Amsterdam Boneshaker IPA, Bellwoods Jutsu Pale Ale and Blood Brothers White Lies Sour Ale.

Say cheers to new cocktail offerings

Raise a toast at The Catch Bar, with specialty handcrafted cocktails such as Dug Out Sangria (made with soda water, rosé, apricot brandy, Cointreau and fresh fruit) or the ballpark’s new signature drink, OK Blue Jays Rum Punch (featuring Sprite, lime juice, simple syrup and Bacardi Blue), served in a souvenir cup.

But if the summertime heat has you craving a frozen marg, head to the Corona Rooftop Patio for this slushy favourite made with tequila, Cointreau, simple syrup and lime mix.

Groove to live music

There’s no need to wait for a concert at the stadium to catch some live music. With the new Corona Rooftop Patio, kid-friendly TD Park Social, WestJet Flight Deck and The Stop, there are options galore for some live music pre- or during the game.

Psych out the opposing team

In the newly introduced, retro-style Bleacher Seating, which you’ll find at the 100L bowl behind the visitors’ bullpen, avid Jays fans can observe (or, um, politely question the readiness of) the opposing pitcher.

Catch a home run ball

You’ll want to bring your catcher’s mitt to the game. At Rogers Landing, located in right field beside the visitors’ bullpen, you’ll get front-row views of the rival bullpen and outfield. This standing room–only area offers a good chance of catching a stray homer or two.
