Soulpepper is Toronto’s largest not-for-profit theatre company, with a year-round season of acclaimed theatrical productions, and over 600 events per year. Located in the city’s beautiful Distillery Historic District, Soulpepper is Toronto’s cultural destination for great theatre.

On stage at Soulpepper this Fall & Winter, you’ll find a range of options perfect for any theatre lover. First up for September & October: Soulpepper’s production of Michael Frayn’s Noises Off, called “the funniest farce ever written”, followed by Michel Tremblay’s seminal work, Hosana. Celebrate Diwali with Piya Behrupiya, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, in Hindi, presented by Soulpepper and Why Not Theatre.

In November, Soulpepper presents A Brimful of Asha by Ravi Jain, in partnership with Why Not Theatre, and Chasse-Galerie, an adaptation of one of Quebec’s most beloved folk tales, produced by Kabin and Storefront Theatre.

December is an exciting time at Soulpepper as the company presents its annual Family Festival! The Festival opens with Toronto audience favourite, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The month will include It’s a Wonderful Life, based on the film by Frank Capra; Hocus Pocus, a spellbinding presentation featuring magician David Ben; Rose, a concert presentation based on Gertrude Stein’s children’s book; A Very Soulpepper Christmas, featuring Music Director Mike Ross and some of Toronto’s best musicians; and Alligator Pie, which brings the celebrated children’s poems of Dennis Lee to vibrant life.
