Culinary Adventure Company, The

As Toronto’s only Chef owned and operated, award winning food tour & gourmet experience company, we pride ourselves exceeding all your expectations. We are passionate about food and fun! In fact we have been awarded a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence two years in a row. We won the 2012 Ontario Culinary Tourism Award and in 2013, our Escape the City Canoe Paddle and Beach Dining Adventure was designated a “Canadian Signature Experience” by the Canadian Tourism Commission.

Our walking Food Tours are offered in 7 different Toronto neighbourhoods. As well as sampling mouthwatering food and libations from the colourful vendors you meet, we will keep you entertained with stories about the history, architecture and local inhabitants. Food Tours range from an afternoon of strolling and sampling to evening dinner tours.

Culinary Adventures are extraordinary gourmet experiences – from foraging for mushrooms in the heart of the city, to escaping the hustle and bustle on a heritage canoe paddle to Toronto Islands and enjoying a gourmet picnic dinner. Guests can join our annual “Seafood in the Sky” pop-up dinner – 7 courses of succulent seafood served under the stars on a Toronto rooftop. Or if you want to get away for a day, join us on a full day winery tour to Prince Edward County. Our “Uncork the County” tours are unlike any wine tour you have done before! We often host special events such as whiskey dinners, new restaurant preview dinners, fundraisers or trips to festivals like Feast of Fields.

Our Classes cover a whole range of unique things like food photography, butchery, BBQ or knife skills, cheese appreciation (with pairings of course) and oyster shucking. Spend a few interactive hours with our experienced and very entertaining instructors, who are often enthusiastic local restaurateurs eager to share their knowledge.

We invite you to let us create cherished and delicious memories of this fantastic city!
