Boo at the Zoo
Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19 & Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26 (11:00 am to 3:00 pm)
It’s time to get out your Halloween costumes and head out to the Toronto Zoo! Up to two kids in costume (12 and under) get in free when accompanied by an adult. All kids are eligible to take part in the “Critters and Costumes Parade” at 11:40 am and 2:40 pm daily, departing from the Waterside Theatre. Also on hand for the Boo fun is My Little Pony who will be at the Zoo’s Courtyard Stage. Kids can also drop by the Play-Doh Play Centre next to the Courtyard Stage to create their very own Zoo animal or Halloween creation. Check out Zoo animals receiving festive pumpkins throughout the day.

Haunted High Park

Visit Colborne Lodge and its grounds at night and hear about legends and ghost stories that have been told about the Lodge and High Park. Period refreshments included.

Symphonic Spooks – Toronto Symphony Orchestra

Delight in hair-raising, spine-chilling classical music, as creatures of all kinds come to haunt the concert hall. Perfect for trick-or-treaters of all ages, well-known spooky works, including Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera Overture, selections from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, and Symphonie fantastique will be heard echoing throughout the hall. Come dressed in costume to help the Orchestra get into the Halloween spirit!

Toronto Zombie Walk & Halloween Parade

The zombie walk started one gloomy Sunday, a week before hallows eve in 2003. A handful of the living dead rose from their graves to wander the streets of Toronto in search of brains. 2014 marks the 12th annual event which has grown into a full one-day festival including Halloween vendors, live entertainment and, new this year, The Nerf Zombie Strike Midway. Festivities begin at 12pm, with the Walk at 3pm.

Halloween Haunt at Canada’s Wonderland

Halloween Haunt takes over Canada’s Wonderland for 12 terrifying nights. From 7:00pm till midnight on select nights in October, experience an amazing assortment of thrill rides along with horrifying mazes and creepy scare zones throughout the Park. I Ain’t Afraid of No Ghost! Tour

“I Ain’t Afraid of No Ghost” is a unique ghost tour with a skeptical twist. In addition to the spooky stories, tour guides discuss the paranormal with the same seriousness of a ghost investigator. This tour is a collection of first-person accounts of ghostly encounters and a revelation of scientific theories and natural phenomena that could explain much of what people think is paranormal. Guides deliver both the spooky and the science and leave the conclusion up to you.

The Haunted Walk of Toronto

From the old military town of York to the metropolitan city of today, discover Toronto’s ghost stories and darker history. Hear of the city’s haunted theaters, public hangings and the terrifying encounters at Mackenzie House. You will never look at the city the same again.

Segway Distillery Ghost Tour
Tuesdays – Sunday (5pm, 6pm & 7pm)
Tour of the ‘other side’ of the Historic Distillery District. Learn to ride a Segway, then explore areas of the site where ghosts and other strange events occurred. At the conclusion of the tour, everyone receives an appropriately themed edible treat! Tour is entirely outdoors and at times in dark.
