25th Annual Massed Military Band Spectacular

“It’s a Long Way to Tipperary,” “Pack Up Your Troubles,” “Roses of Picardy,” “Oh How I Hate To Get Up In The Morning,” these are all familiar songs of the First World War. By modern day standards it was a less complicated time when duty called and thousands of young Canadians answered. This year the strife and sorrows, the glory and success of ‘The War To End All Wars’ will be commemorated at the Royal Canadian Military Institute’s Annual Massed Military Band Spectacular.

This is the 25th annual RCMI Concert and an occasion you must attend! As always, the band spectacular will feature stirring marches, contemporary numbers and period pieces that will get you tapping your toes and humming along. As well, we are in for a number of pleasant surprises, from vocals to guest bands, that you simply won’t want to miss. Of course we will once again feature more than 120 pipers, drummers, brass and woodwind players from Toronto’s Navy, Air Force and Army bands. It’s a once-a-year opportunity to enjoy the best musicians our Armed Forces have to offer.

Doors open at 12:30pm for display viewing.
