PITBULL & KE$HA

International music sensations Pitbull and Ke$ha announce they will share the stage for a North American Summer tour. Pitbull and Ke$ha, known for their top charting hits and explosive live performances, will join forces when they take the stage at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto on June 5, 2013. Australia’s multi-platinum dance/pop music stars Justice Crew are confirmed as support along with special guest DJs Ultra Records’ Jump Smokers.

Pitbull and Ke$ha performed at Nickelodeon’s 26th Annual Kid’s Choice Awards recently. Pitbull performed his new single, “Feel This Moment” with Christina Aguilera for the first time in its entirety. Pitbull’s new album, Global Warming is the highly anticipated follow-up to Planet Pit, which earned critical acclaim and enjoyed massive commercial success with sales of more than 1.7 million albums and 19 million singles Ke$ha performed “C’Mon,” the second single from her critically acclaimed second album, Warrior. Her debut album Animal has sold over 2.5 million units worldwide and Ke$ha has had 7 consecutive Top 10 hits including four #1 singles in “TiK ToK,” “Your Love Is My Drug,” “We R Who We R” and the latest #1 hit “Die Young.”

Free Concert Series – Strings Without Borders

The Free Concert Series in the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre is a unique opportunity to experience diverse artistic programming in what has become one of Toronto’s most exciting cultural hubs. Six inspiring series offer concerts, dance performances and engaging presentations that feature both up-and-coming young artists and established international stars. All performances are FREE to the public, with admission on a first-come, first-served basis. Concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early as late seating is not available.

12:00pm to 1:00pm. Pipa virtuosa Wen Zhao and Russian-Israeli flamenco guitarist Roman Smirnov join forces for a unique program exploring dance repertoire from China, Spain and the Middle East. The concert includes festival music, love songs and folk dances.
