Da Mao, Canada’s only male giant panda, is turning six years old and we want you to help us celebrate! Join us for panda birthday activities in the Wildlife Marquee located in the Discovery Zone. The birthday fun takes place on 2014-09-01 from 11am to 3pm and is FREE with admission. Anyone who shares Da Mao’s September 1st birthday will receive complimentary admission* that day. Visitors can come out and make their own panda mask for Da Mao’s “bear-thday”. To help make Da Mao feel special on his second Canadian Birthday why not bring him a special birthday card or stop by and help decorate his exhibit! Visitors can participate in panda interpretive stations where there will be fun, interactive and educational activities. Stop by our gift shops to purchase Da Mao plush for 40% off!
