South Asian Day

Bring out the whole family to enjoy a day filled with art, music and dance all focused on South Asia. The ROM has partnered with Ethnic Marketing to present this special day of South Asian heritage programming. Heritage Days at the ROM provide a unique opportunity for Canadians to celebrate and learn about their own and other cultures.

The festivities will encompass a variety of activities, such as classical and folk dances, which will also be accompanied by musical performances. Visitors can participate in a variety of interactive activities such as miniature painting, authentic Mughal art and calligraphy, Rangoli floor art as well as block printing and textile crafts. Additionally, the ROMs Food Studio will play host to a variety of South Asian cuisines.
