Discover the joys of foraging as we explore the Don Valley in search of wild mushrooms and edible plants. Our expert guide will share his many years of knowledge and point out interesting plants and maybe a few animals too, as we hunt for these gourmet treasures. Although we cannot guarantee success, we do guarantee a fun-filled morning in the great outdoors, some mild to medium physical activity and a tasty gourmet lunch prepared by our chef. You even get to keep what you find and we’ll throw in some delicious recipes for you to try at home.

We will be taking you to 5-7 food merchants and have you discover a few neighbourhoods while having the chance to ride the TTC. This tour is constantly changing, as, we have several favourites in different neighbourhoods, so, no two tours are exactly alike.

Delve into the tastes and culture of one of Toronto’s most flavourful neighbourhoods. Discover the aromas and sample fabulous Indian delicacies as you learn about traditions and customs while strolling through one of the largest and oldest South Asian markets in North America.
From dosas to desserts…we will take your taste buds on a culinary adventure that runs the gamut from Indian Street Foods such as Grilled Corn, to Samosas, Kebabs, authentic Tandoor cooked Naan Bread and THE absolute best Butter Chicken in Toronto…to name but a few. Take a sneak peak into one of the kitchens for a culinary demonstration, find out the best places to shop for Indian spices and cookware and hear a sprinkling of Toronto history and local stories.
