Toronto’s Festival of Beer is a celebration of Canada’s rich brewing history, hosted by experts of the brewing craft from around the world. Featuring 300+ brands onsite, this is Canada’s premier celebration of the golden beverage!
This is a 19+ event, no children, no pets, no exceptions!

The 20th annual Toronto’s Festival of Beer will take place from July 25-27th, 2014. Details are:

La Casa del Habano

Cigar roller: Ms. Tania Perera, cigar Master roller from Cuba, will be at La Casa del Habano on Tuesday July 22 and Wednesday July 23rd, from 12 to 5 PM.
Customers can come to see the processes of tobacco leaves classification, blending and rolling, into magnificent Habano cigars.

La Casa del Habano Cigar dinner: The store invites customers to yet another cigar dinner during the summer, this time to enjoy vintage cigars from our selection.

Date: Monday July 21st, 6 PM

Place: Creme Brasserie, 162 Cumberland St. (half a block from the store)

Dinner and three Habanos are included, as well as taxes and gratuities, for $160.00/person. Drinks are separate, to be paid individually. Dinner is on the patio; if it rains, dinner will be moved to a cover area of the patio, so customers can still enjoy the outdoors.

Cigars: Hoyo de Monterrey Regalos, Limited Edition 2007 (46×5½); Montecristo Especial, 2008 (38×7½); and
San Cristobal de La Habana Mercaderes, LCDH Edition 2005 (48×6½).

4 Winemakers, 8 Chardonnays and 32,000 kilometers

Join us at Peller Estates during the 2014 International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration weekend for a guided tasting and alfresco dining experience that celebrates all things Chardonnay!

Kick off your experience with a Sparkling Reception in our Barrel Cellar. Winemaker, Katie Dickieson, will then host and participate on a panel of four Canadian and International winemakers, each showcasing their Chardonnay in a tasting that will explore how the terroir, winemaking style and more, have influenced each of their wines.

Following the tasting, indulge in a 4-course lunch overlooking the vineyards in our picturesque Wine Garden. The menu crafted by Winery Chef and CityLine personality, Jason Parsons, will include one of his favourites- a Whole Roasted Pig – perfectly paired with Chardonnay. Each course will be created to pair with a Chardonnay to be presented by our winemaker guests.

Fifth Annual Thrill of the Grill
