(Held 2nd weekend of September). There are so many events going on in Toronto over the summer that it can be hard to pick out which ones to carve out time for. If you’re looking for a warm family feel and a whole lot of culture then the Cabbagetown Festival just might be the perfect fit. It’s held annually on the second weekend of September and has events going from Thursday to Sunday.

Surf, Turf, & Sail

Foodies on Foot and Gone Sailing Adventures have teamed up to bring you Toronto’s best private sailing experience and foodie feast. We promise not to go all Gilligan’s Island on this 3+ hour tour. Join us for 2 distinct foodie adventures as we view the city in a way seldom seen by most, on a private yacht.

On September 9, join us for a full moon cruise. We depart at 6:00 PM, return around 10:00 PM, and watch the sunset on the city while chatting food and dining on a delicious feast curated by yours truly, featuring some of our favourite food in Toronto. Get those cameras ready as the full moon takes centre stage and glistens over the water on an adventure you will never forget.

Join us on this delicious foodie experience. Tickets are $125 plus HST for the Learn to Sail and $150 plus HST for the Full Moon Cruise, and, include sailing on a private yacht (maximum 12 people), food, and non-alcoholic beverages.

On August 12, join us for an interactive experience as you learn to sail, or, if you prefer, to just sit back and go for the ride. We depart at 7:00 PM and return around 10:00 PM. You can do as much, or as little, as you like, as Captain Howie takes you through a sailing 101 and you learn what it takes to sail a private yacht. After we learn to sail, we will set anchor and indulge in a delicious feast curated by yours truly, featuring some of our favourite food in Toronto.
