The Ontario Science Centre first opened its doors to the public in September 1969 as one of the world’s first interactive science museums that sparks the curiosity of its visitors.
Celebrate Community Day with FREE general admission* to the Science Centre and a special price for IMAX® films!
Presented by TELUS, Community Day is the Science Centre’s way of celebrating science with the whole community. In addition to FREE admission to all our exhibits, The Science of Rock ‘N’ Roll and special programming in the Centre throughout the day, we invite all adults to become children again! For this day only, adult visitors will be able to turn back the clock to see the popular IMAX films Island of Lemurs: Madagascar and Under the Sea at the children’s price.
*IMAX film tickets for all age categories on September 28 will be $9 per person.
For all IMAX ticket holders please arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the film.
*Please note: Parking is not included. Parking at the Ontario Science Centre is $10 per vehicle.

Did you know the red panda is the original panda and was discovered almost 50 years before the giant panda? Learn all about these amazing and endangered creatures and meet our red pandas! Don’t miss a special meet-the-keeper talk plus enrichment feeding at 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm and bid on fun prizes in a panda-themed silent auction. All proceeds support the Red Panda Network, an organization committed to the conservation of wild red pandas and their habitat.
