This summer, The Second City is pleased to bring you a hilarious new adventure for all ages, Princess Polly and the World’s Smallest Ninja. Come along as Princess Polly sets out to save the kingdom, with the help of a tiny ninja, whose skills will baffle your eyes!

Complete with wonderful original songs, a heart-warming tale, and plenty of surprises, Princess Polly is a production that will delight kids and parents alike!

Recommended for ages 5 – 102. Performances: July 4 to September 1.

International Vulture Awareness Day

Did you know that turkey vultures aren’t really vultures? Did you know that vultures poop on their legs to cool themselves? Did you know that vultures can soar for six hours without flapping their wings? Want to learn more cool facts? Come to the zoo on September 1st for the Third Annual International Vulture Awareness Day and see firsthand how the Toronto Zoo is helping vultures in the wild. Remember, bald is beautiful!

Game On 2.0: An Exhibition

The world’s largest celebration of video games making its first Canadian appearance, Game On 2.0 features game design, development, and production including multiplayer games, handheld devices, original concept and character art, and the history’s most influential arcade machines. From Pong to Guitar Hero; the Ontario Science Centre will host Game On 2.0 which offers a hands-on exploration of video game history and culture. Visitors will experience more than 60 years of gaming entertainment and technology; from the very first commercial coin-operated game to the latest in virtual reality and 3D gaming.

Game On 2.0 tracks the development of video games from the earliest computer games to arcade-era hits and the very latest from today’s multi-billion dollar industry with more than 150 playable games from across the history of the medium – including pinball games – as well as rarely-seen consoles, controllers and collectables.

Canada’s Wonderland

It’s really no wonder that Canada’s Wonderland is Canada’s premiere amusement park. It’s where families come to spend quality time with each other and their good friends, g-forces.
