Chris Tucker

Superstar actor and standup comedian Chris Tucker is best known for playing the role of Detective James Carter in the Rush Hour film series. Tucker became a frequent stand up performer on Def Comedy Jam in the 1990s. He came to prominence in 1995 film Friday alongside Ice Cube, and then appeared in Luc Besson’s The Fifth Element before beginning work on the highly commercially successful Rush Hour films.

In 2006 he negotiated an unprecedented $25 million salary to appear in Rush Hour 3, which at the time made him the highest paid actor in Hollywood. Tucker is also a humanitarian and spends much of his spare time traveling and working with his foundation. He most recently appeared in the Oscar nominated film “Silver Linings Playbook” with Robert DeNiro, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper. The classically trained PROJECT Trio makes music hip for audiences of all ages! With over 66 million YouTube hits and appearances on popular TV channels, such as MTV, PROJECT Trio has been delighting audiences around the world.

Buffer Festival

Buffer Festival is a multi-day theatrical event that showcases the best creative work from video creators on YouTube. The 1st annual Buffer Festival will be held November 8-10, 2013 in multiple theatres across the entertainment district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Buffer Festival is created and brought to you by ApprenticeA Productions, the team who directed and produced the CTFxC wedding video and the upcoming YouTube documentary Vlogumentary. The festival is co-produced in partnership with the CFC Media Lab.

Shows will be feature-length, and contain live appearances from popular YouTube creators. Tickets will be available for purchase online at www.bufferfestival.com and through the TIFF Bell Lightbox.
