Toronto Zoo Celebrates Fall!
Saturday, October 11 to Monday, October 13, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm: Crisp fall air, vibrant colours and fun for all ages; the Toronto Zoo is the place to be this Thanksgiving Weekend! We are celebrating the changing of the season with interactive and themed activities, educational programs, tours, keeper talks and enrichment programs with the animals and Fall Foliage Tours. All FREE with Zoo admission!
Discovery Zone Wildlife Marquee, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm: Fun fall activities will also be in full swing at the Wildlife Marquee where you can participate in craft stations, gourd bowling, harvest photo ops and My Little Pony meet and greets! Kids can also drop by the Play-Doh Play Centre to create their very own Zoo animal creation.
Fall Foliage Tree Tour, ONE HOUR TOURS, 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm: The bright oranges, reds and yellows of the autumnal trees remind us that fall has arrived. Join us for a one hour guided tour of the Zoo site to discover how to identify trees and learn more how trees have added value to our lives throughout history. Offered twice daily at 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm, interested visitors should meet your Volunteer guide at the Wildlife Marquee as all tours depart from Wildlife Marquee (located in the Discovery Zone).
Fall Colours – Interpretive Pop-Up Stations, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm: What is your favourite fall colour – red, yellow or orange? Look for a Volunteer interpretive cart with fun and interactive activities at some of our favourite fall-coloured animals. Like the fall leaves, you never know where they may blow in from and off too!
