April 11, 2014

Celebrating its 50th season of music making, the Orpheus Choir of Toronto has earned a reputation as one of our city’s most illustrious large choral ensembles. Under the leadership of Robert Cooper since 2004, the 60-voice choir is known for its adventurous programs that includes both the old and the new from classical to jazz. Highlights of the choir’s program will feature an eclectic blend of choral favourites by Duruflé, Britten and Ešenvalds, plus a charming selection of spirituals and folk tunes and a dash of “La Cucaracha!”
