Leigh Anne Tuohy
Dubbed the “warrior princess” by Author Michael Lewis in his best-selling book, The Blind Side—which became a block buster movie starring Sandra Bullock—Leigh Anne is the inspirational matriarch of the Tuohy family. Her unconditional love saved Michael Oher from a life of homelessness. She adopted Michael and inspired him to play football. A Tennessee native, Leigh Anne and the whole Tuohy family were on the sidelines cheering their son Michael and the Baltimore Ravens on to his first Super Bowl victory in 2000 and again in 2012.
At the Podium Leigh Anne will inspire you to find value in those who society has deemed valueless. She shares her personal Blind Side observations from seeing Michael Oher for the first time to how the experience changed her as a person. “Michael had a much greater impact on our lives than we did on his life,” says Leigh Anne. She adds, “In our family we have a motto: birth parents aren’t always the right parents and families always don’t have to match.”
Don’t miss this remarkable life story. Leigh Anne will impact your life forever.
