Rick Davis Promotions Inc. presents KiteFest, Canada’s First Eco-Friendly kite festival June 7th and 8th 2014 from 12pm-5pm. KiteFest will be at the Gore Meadows Community Centre at 10150 The Gore Road, north of Castlemore Road in Brampton, Ontario.
Come out to enjoy breathtaking ascensions, delightfully choreographed kite performances, learn about alternative green initiatives, and much more! Not only will there be performances from professional kite flyers, but plenty of space to fly a kite of your own. Visit the Tim Hortons’ kids kite making zone where to receive a free kite to decorate and fly (700 kites per day).
This is a FREE Family Festival that is a way to bring together the multicultural community. In addition to free parking on the grounds, additional parking will be made available with free shuttle buses to and from the event. Parking lots will be available at Castlemore Public School at 9916 The Gore Road, and Castlebrooke Secondary School at 10 Gardenbrooke Trail. Shuttle buses will be going between the schools and Gore Meadows about every 30-45 minutes.
