Reflections of War Time
Toronto Summer Music Festival is one of the city’s most eagerly-awaited classical music events with concerts performed by Canadian and international artists, plus masterclasses, lectures, interviews, workshops and free outreach concerts.
In 2018, to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War I, the festival will explore some of the most beautiful and emotional music that was written during or inspired by times of war and conflict.
The season includes performances by the renowned Russian ensamble, the Borodin Quartet, Syrian clarinetist Kinan Azmeh, Ben Heppner and the Toronto Mass Choir, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra Chamber Soloists and many more artists from around the world.
Join in the celebration of great music and one of the city’s top summer cultural events.
