Celebrating Canada’s Sesquicentennial

Toronto Summer Music Festival is one of the city’s most eagerly-awaited classical music events, with concerts performed by Canadian and international artists, plus masterclasses, lectures, interviews, workshops and free outreach concerts.

In 2017, in celebration of Canada’s 150th, the festival will explore the music of Canada and feature the very best of this country’s world-renowned classical performers.

The season includes a one-week residency by superstar Canadian violinist James Ehnes, acclaimed soprano Soile Isokoski in recital, a tribute to beloved Canadian pianist Anton Kuerti, leading ensembles such as the St. Lawrence and Rolston String Quartets and festive TSM traditions, A Night at the Opera and the Last Night of the Festival.

Join in the celebration of great music and one of the city’s top summer cultural events.
