The only film festival for young people in Toronto,
Sprockets Toronto International Film Festival for Children is a must-attend cultural event for families and schools. For over a decade, Sprockets has offered children and youth a rare opportunity to see what kids in other parts of the world are lining up to see. Taking place April 17 - 23, 2010, Sprockets is an enriching experience that is much more than just a day at the movies. It offers free on-site film-craft activities such as special effects makeup and Foley - the craft of movie sound effects, as well as post-screening discussions with filmmakers and special guests to further explore the film's themes, storytelling techniques, and more. This year's festival offers a glimpse of future family programs that will be offered at the new home for Sprockets. Sprockets 2010 lineup will be announced on March 9th, 2010.
