Out and About

If your delegates still have energy after a day of meetings, Toronto’s entertainment, dining and attractions can’t be beat.

There are restaurants for every taste, from Tibetan to Italian. For those who like glitz and glamour, Toronto has a steady stream of big-time musicals. Toronto is also a hotbed of artistic talent. There are theatres that push the envelope. Galleries lined with challenging work. Bands that rock into the night. Plus spas aplenty, for pampering and relaxation.

Toronto’s professional sports teams are always popular. The Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League are legendary. The Blue Jays of Major League Baseball’s American League are a guaranteed hit. And the Rock lacrosse provides fans with non-stop heart- pounding action.

Interesting Destination
The Distillery District is old, but it’s Toronto’s newest destination. Developed from a collection of industrial Victorian buildings dating back to the early 1800s, its cobblestone streets buzz with new energy. There are artisans, galleries, restaurants and a brewery. Plus, the District stages popular events like a jazz festival, flower markets and even a celebration of dogs.
